Why These Stories Deserve a Map
Every map in the Hall of Maps begins the same way…with a story and a pencil in hand.
Over the years I’ve developed the habit of drawing the map of whatever story I’m reading. It’s a way of discovering that every story is rooted to the land. Even when the exact locations have been lost to history or blurred by legend, the people still walked real roads, crossed real seas, and looked toward real horizons. Drawing a map makes those worlds feel tangible and connects them to a place and culture.
My hope is that these maps help you slow down, step into those worlds, and see them with fresh eyes.
